Why doesn’t everyone believe in Jesus? How can we trust God's justice and goodness when He chooses whom to save? This week in our Romans series, we wrestled with a deep truth: God is sovereign—and He chooses whom to save. 🙌 It’s not about our goodness. It's not about our effort. It's all about His mercy. And that’s GOOD news—because if salvation depended on us, none of us would make it. 💔 We may carry unceasing anguish for loved ones far from Jesus. But Romans 9 reminds us: God is working, and His plan is good.
Gospel Response: Though we wrestle with God's sovereignty—His right to choose whom He will have mercy on—we submit with gratitude, knowing that none of us deserve salvation. The miracle is not that God doesn’t save everyone, but that He saves anyone. His choice is not based on our works or worthiness, but purely on His mercy. Through Jesus Christ, God calls both Jews and Gentiles to Himself—not by birthright, but by faith. Our role is not to understand every detail, but to trust and to go, proclaiming the gospel with hope that He will work through us to save others.
Let’s trust Him. Let’s go and proclaim Christ.
